I don't have an SLR, nor do I have any photography skills, but I do like taking pictures and would like to get better. I finally bought myself a new point & shoot a couple months back after using the same old Sony I'd been using since 2001. I wanted a compact point & shoot that would fit in my motorcycle jacket pocket but still have a good zoom and take decent photos, and after quite a bit of research I ended up buying a Panasonic Lumix TZ-5. It's definitely no SLR, but is good enough that the only excuse I have for not taking decent pictures is my lack of skill! Anyways, I recognize a lot of names from PNWriders, it'll be good to get some tips and advice and maybe even post up some non-motorcycle pics! |
