I was doing some night shooting and 'set' the ISO to 200 but when I pull the raw files up in CS3 it's telling me they were at ISO 600 and 680... and the grainyness of the images shows that it was so. I was shooting in Manual mode. I don't get it. ![]() Is there a setting or something I missed? I want it so not do any automatic ISO adjustments at all.

| Administrator | I think it's in your camera menu settings.

| Junior Member | If your D40 is similiar to my D60...you should be able to access the "shooting menu" by pressing the "i" button when the "settings menu" is displayed. Once you've accessed the shooting menu you can use the cursor button to select ISO, and adjust accordingly...I think. Reading your manual generally helps too... lol Last edited by William; 07-02-2008 at 03:17 PM.. Reason: yaddah, yaddah |
