My Camera: disposable | full frame vs aps-c... why would/wouldn't you get a full frame camera? benefits? consequences? compared to today's smaller frame slr's, aside form a larger sensor, are the d3's, 5d's, and 1ds so beneficial as to justify the cost?

| Administrator | For me, the only benefit a full frame camera offers is the additional picture real estate that is gained, since a partial-frame is cropping some of that off. Most of my lenses would offer a bigger picture with a full frame sensor. In the meantime, no full frame camera for me. However, I'm not buying anymore DX lenses so if I ever do go full frame, the full potential of my lenses will be awesome.
