My Canon S500 (point-and shoot) has enjoyed a great life, providing me with over 10k pics over the last 4+/- years.
However I dropped it yesterday from about 5 feet up, and now it is making mechanical noises when trying to extend/retract the lens, and all pictures are very fuzzy.
Seeing as I spent $500 originally on this camera, it's difficult for me to now say "screw it" and just toss it or whatever....
So I wanted to know if there was a camera repair place in Portland that any of you have used or would recommend, for decent repairs at a reasonable price.

or it could be a good time to get your nice, new slr.

I'm definitely getting the dslr, but the only question now is how much I can sell the s500 for, or at least use it in certain situations or whatnot...
like I said, it'd be too painful to just toss a 500 coin camera...
I'll see when Camera World thinks (can they do an estimate of some sort), but if anyone else knows of a repair place, please let me know
