My wife and I were kicking around the CDA Costco last night after getting some dinner at our fav brew pub and they had just recieved 2 new Camera Kits. I don't remember the exact specs, etc but: Canon XTi with a 18-55 IS and a 55-220??? IS lens for around 1099 (I was taken aback when i saw both lenses were the IS lenses--I thought they were waiting to release the IS lenses in the kit with the XSi) NIkon D60 with 18-55 VR and 55-220??? VR lens for around 999. Costco - Nikon D60 10.2MP 2.5" 18-55mmVR 55-200mmVR Image Stabilization (This seemed like a very good deal to me) Anyway, I truly apologize for not remembering all the EXACT specs and costs, but I thought the IS and VR lenses they had on the info sheets and the prices (esp for the D60) were worth posting up for anyone in the market for a new kit right now. I hope this proves useful. I couldn't find a linky for the Canon. |

I bought mine from Costco as it was cheaper than I could find anywhere else, and for the same money it had the double lens kit. Sure, its cheap glass, but its better than nothing, besides I wanted some lenses I wouldn't be afraid to kick around while backpacking/skiing/etc.
