Interesting result

I understand the science behind the results of the photo listed below, but I just can't help but be a amazed at the visual it produces. I'm referring to the 'invisible' car. Being as you can clearly make out the head lights and even the light shining onto the road, but no trace of a car. Almost like that sought after super hero car with cloaking capabilities.

(Not a great photograph, as I was still setting up and waiting for the sun to completely set for some night shots, and kinda shot this from the hip).

OMG where are the cars?! had fun shooting this. not necessarily because of the photographing, but because of the incident with the cops right after.

How long of an exposure on that one? Well done, very sharp. Once the weather warms up a bit, I'm going to scope out a couple good locations to take similar shots.

So what happened with the cop?

8 secs.

don't wanna highjack your thread, but basically, the cops got a call from someone on the freeway thinking we (jayt and i) were pointing rifles at people on the freeway. it didn't help that our tirpods were black and extended.

"are you guys holding rifles?"

I have one, but as I said, I wasn't even setup to take this shot, just casually snapped it, handheld. I just shot it to see what it would look like as I was waiting for the sun to fully set.

I have a cheapy tripod right now, but will be getting a nice one real soon.
