Usually that doesn't stop people, so a watermark will help thwart others in using or claiming it as their own, without paying royalties or getting permission. Doesn't hurt in advertising too! ![]() |

Basically you create an image file with the text you want for the watermark, do a bit of manipulation to make it semi transparent, then add it as a layer to your pics. I've got a book by Scott Kelby on Elements 5, which I use, that has a step by step walk through on how to create one. |

In the Elements editor under the 'File' menu is a 'Process Multiple Files' option. Playing around with that just now I found an option to put a watermark on all files within a given directory at once. Check your help for batch or process multiple, it's gotta be in there somewhere. |
