| Member  Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 94 From: ............... My Camera: Olympus Evolt E500 | xD versus MicroSD. A friend at work just bought a Olympus 1030SW, the waterproof one. It can use either an xD or MicroSD. The xD costs twice as much per giabyte, but is supposed to be faster. Which is better and why? Will an amature notice any difference in the write speed with the xD versus the other?
