My Camera: Canon S5 and XTi

Why do you shoot?

Why do you take photos? What got you into it? How long have you been doing it?

Has your passion for it changed over time? Are you more/less enthusiastic about it?

What drives you to keep shooting?

Please discuss. I would love to hear the stories.

My Camera: Canon Rebel XTi

i've thought about this, and have no idea. i started playing with my dads old digital camera (when they were first getting popular, big and bulky with so-so resolution) and had fun with it. then i got a shitty point and shoot (which actually took better pics than my dad's) and after having that for a while, i knew i had to get a dlsr eventually. i've been addicted for a while, but have no idea what the draw is...

My Camera: Nikon D70

It really started around the age of 10...due to my love of flying and aircraft. I have a ton of hobbies (anyone that knows me knows I do have a TON of hobbies) .......That was 26 years ago!...I started with a Kodak 110 camera. A few years later I got my first 35mm camera. I've had several Canon, Olympus, Pentax & Nikon...but mostly Nikon 35mm SLR's Then 3 years ago I finally went all digital with the Nikon D70 I still own.

A few years into working with 35mm I got into doing a lot of Nature photography as well. I've also done pet photography (my wife has the largest Pug group in the NW), auto/sportbikes, aircraft & of course nature stuff. I've really been getting into B&W lately too.

I love to take pics...although it's just a hobby of mine (1 of 100) LOL! That's how it all started.
