My Camera: Nikon D300

How do you auto bracket on a Nikon D300?

I looked in my manual, and cant figure out for the life of me, but how do I auto-bracket on a D300 so I can make an HDR?

On custom setting, go to "f controls" hit OK go to " F4- assign func button" . Setting should be
Func button press - OFF
FUNC. button + Dial - BKT.
hit OK.

Once done, press your lower button in front of your camera . Check the upper screen . Use comand button to set your number of shots and exposures..

You can do single shot at a time or set your release button to CL or CH.

Once done be sure to set it back to zero shots .

set your fn button to bracket burst. you can choose 3, 5, 7 or 9 shot bursts. Hold down the shutter and it will automatically stop when done.

My Camera: canon eos 40d

I would like to suggest to use a remote. I tried pressing my camera's button even if its set on something, maybe I need a tripod, I still get a lil shake.
So what I did was set it to timer. Press it once and it took 3burst shots. Without my finger holding on the button.
