Extremely engineered. Never given me a bit of trouble in 20 years or so. Cons: Big, heavy. Not something I'm likely to carry around on the bike. Slik - (Don't remember the model number - it's downstairs right now) Decent, but seems flimsy after using the Bogen. Small and light enough to carry on the bike (I slip it into a jeans leg that I cut off an old pair and strap it on). Relatively low cost.
