why'd no one say anything?

the tree branch in the first is a little distracting because it's just floating there. same with the second pic - it makes me want to either see none or more of the tree on the right.

otherwise, these are nice. where's the steam coming from? or is that fog?

since they are already greyed out turn those into black and white then use PS to age them

I notices that after I loaded them onto the computer as well.

As for the 'steam', it is more fog, but there was some steam rising from the water in places.

-6 Celsius or so. I was having trouble working the camera as my hands get stiff when they are cold. And after waiting for several minutes for the lens to un-fog they were pretty chilly.
