Tulip Festival

I learned a few things about taking pictures of flowers. Chip was right, bright sun is bad for close-ups. I could have used a tripod but didn't want to make Taylor carry it. Most of the tulips were only just barely starting to bloom, I think a week or two from now would be the perfect time to visit.

We took the "scenic" route and stopped for lunch at a delicious place on Whidbey.

I really like the low angle shot on the daffs. Just enough cloud to make the sky interesting, but not enough to take away interest in the flowers.

The tulips/sky photo is cool, but this is my fave:

If my pics come out HALF as good as yours, I' be happy. I like your use of DoF, and the tilting isn't overboard! Lol! Nice shots overall!
