| Senior Member Joined: May 2008 Posts: 198 From: bellingham, wa My Camera: canon eos 40d | newbie pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() first few shots after getting my cf card in the mail. not really used to doing everything on manual yet, im not sure if they are even on manual i might have the af turned on haha is the background too blurry? on a different topic, i wanna make em a lil sharper and since im only using my laptop depending on the angle of the lcd the sharpness and brightness changes. i dunno how to set my camera's sharpness settings yet and i think the iso is on auto. and i didnt know about raw and jpg yet. but after reading a few stuff here, im gonna start shooting on raw from now on. It has to do with the aperture, from what I've read. The blur is called bokeh?? Anyway it's often desirable, especially where you have one primary subject you want your audience to focus on. Like on flower pictures. Someone else will chime in soon with better info |

| Senior Member Joined: May 2008 Posts: 198 From: bellingham, wa My Camera: canon eos 40d | oh sorry, yeah i know bout aperture, i said the sharpness coz im on my laptop and seems its a lil hard to really see what the pics look like coz at a different angle on the lcd its darker and lighter depending on how the lcd is tilted. haha |
