My Camera: disposable | it was a combination of both, and we were mixing fluorescents and tungstens. yeah, the images turned out a little cool, but i don't mind the look at all. could probably be a touch warmer, but i didn't want the girls to get lost in that warmth. |

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! [/little girl squeal] i've been looking at the abr800 (wtf doesn't anyone else make a reasonably affordable one?) as the next toy after a body upgrade, mostly for the look it gives, but it is a plus that it can also be an additional standing light, with all the possible modifiers. want. also want a dedicated studio. want. wait, you have more than one abr800? You don't need em if you set up lighting correctly Wanna help me gut my garage...there is dedicated studio space. 2 Car garage with no cars in it. This fall I may splurge for studio space "formal" but I can do whatever I want in the garage for now. |

Lightroom is fucking awesome btw. Photoshop is still king but 90% of the time I don't need it anymore. Once you learn LR it's just amazing, especially for processing RAW. I shoot only in RAW now (except for quick snapshots) and use LR then adjust further in PS if I need it. | |
