My Camera: Olympus Evolt E500

Black and white candid.

Critique please!

These are all a bit 'soft' but that was kind of the intent, other than that give me pointers on composition and lighting.

My niece Claire.











My sister Shelly.





I think I need to rotate this one more, then turn it on its side.

My Camera: disposable

soft is okay for portraits. a little higher contrast in the first few pics, and maybe a touch for the rest.

the only awkward composition is maybe 2, 3 and the last one.

lighting's not such a big deal, since you're working with what's available. wouldn't even be concerned, if you push the contrast issue.

nice shots. 4 and 7 are teh bestest.

could be, and or not enough depth? I need a scanner and I could scan and upload some of my film black and whites. I can show you better then I can explain what I am talking about
