My magazine covers :)

So I do a lot of Photography for marketing for our company and these are a couple of the covers/ads that I have done...

C & C welcome

This one I just signed a release for because they want to use it as a national cover to show the quality of the magazine

This one is an ad we put out in a couple different magazines

This is another cover of a kitchen in one of the homes

Here is the original of the shot above

wow nathan! Very cool!

The first shot fits very well, third shot, seems a bit blurry? Perhaps you didnt use a timer on your tripod? Also, what was your aperture setting? Hoping f/16 or smaller.

Yes that is cool!
Per Darren, tripod would be a big plus.
Also white balance for the light, either on-site or in post if you shoot RAW, which would be a good idea.

this was hand held and it it is only a little blurry but bc its a scan it gets a little worse...I was using the D200 with an AF 28mm F1.8 and the shot I believe was at about F10...I am still working on getting the settings down to produce the best image...

really did not like shooting with that lense..

The first 2 shots were both with my D60 and the kit lense, 18-55 F3.5-5.6 AF-S VR...I really like having the VR for shooting handheld..it really makes a difference

1) Use a tripod
2) Use the distortion control in photoshop to make the vertical lines straight.
3) Shoot during the day for interiors unless it has a nice sunset view
4) Use strobes or do HDR

Practice

And that was supposed to be CC. Not saying bad shots at all. They look like great shots Nathan! Cool opportunity as well.

I know I appreciate your CC..

And thanks to all of you for your comments & critiques

I will definitely keep in mind the tripod and timing more to avoid any blurring

A tripod and remote trigger make all the difference in the world.

But I'm still too lazy to use mine.

Cool deal BTW
