First time for everything.

Some of you know me from other forums, this is my first time at giving photography a shot.

Just over this past weekend, my studio had a ball and I somehow became designated photographer. Well, I still have the studio's camera and decided to give this whole photography hobby a shot. Just went out to bellevue with a buddy, got a couple drinks and just fiddled around with the camera a little bit with different settings.

I think they came out kind of cool for my first time, but i know there's probably a lot more that I could have done differently? Anyway, i think i caught the bug and am looking at picking up a DSLR in the next month or so. So off i go to research.

I am not sure about the bug part more like a drug.. I got a D70 from a friend for a steal back in sept and here is the off the wall thank you I sent to him.

Ok I admit got a new drug by a nice dealer from seattle, (I quit that in 1990) so far I have found it to be verrrrrrrrry addictive. It is nothing that money wont help get the next fix and withdrawals can be very painful. I picked up my latest fix today on the way home from work I have found myself sneaking around to use it. I paid for it saturday and had to wait to get it today. dam it seemed like forever. The internet does not help with this new found addiction with so many sites selling the drug parafanlia. Be very careful of this new drug it will sneak up and knock you silly and take your wallet and run to the nearest dealer. That is if your personal monopod has not extended it's self from the excitement of the next got to have and you don't want the embarrassment of standing up at that moment. Oh and from what I hear the street and medical name for this new drug is DSLR.. watch out for it.
