Hoover Damn is very cool...

Get creative on the Vegas Strip.

The water show in front of that one hotel.

Red Rock Canyon
I highly recommend the Valley of Fire
Lake Las Vegas
Lake Mead
Fremont Street

All of the above are not very far from the strip

Eric, my buddy just went down there and got to take a helo ride for 60 bucks; for like 20-30 minutes. Would be a kick in the pants at night. Something u might wanna look into when you're down there.

If I had a decent camera I would leave it at home. Take a point&shoot. In Vegas you never know when your going to have to punch a hooker, outrun a drug dealer or worse the cops. Myself I can usually only account for 50 to 60% of my time there. God only knows what happend the other 40-50%?? Better safe than shopping for a new camera right?
