Orchids

Hello,

A few images of a gift of Orchids shot with my Nikon D200 and Zoom-Micro Nikkor 70~180mm F/4.5~5.6D. The gift of Orchids were in condolence for just losing my dear cat Stella to Intrathoracic disease, she was 12 years old.

Hi Karen,

Not sure if it's my computer but all the photos looks a little underexposed.

Hello Turk,

Yes, I do believe the orchid images are underexposed. So....I have gone and taken three more photos by the window in hopes that it would make a difference. What do you think! I would appreciate any comments! I am reading about exposure so that I can take better photos. Thanks for your feedback!

Everything appears to still be way underexposed, but the white balance looks a LOT better in the last 3.

Thanks for the comments and I am reading up on exposure and my Nikon D200. I am also looking for a good exposure book. Do you think Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson is a good place to really start to understand exposure? Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks again for the comments!
