iso technology's come a long way. today's 3200 is yesterday's 800. so i wouldn't really be bitching about my camera being able to go iso 102400.

Darn it, I was saving all my overtime for a new boat. Now it's designated for two of these if they pan out after the first few months of folks getting their hands on them, maybe after they've been out 6-10 months.

I'm not impressed at all.

I don't really understand Canon's strategy with the 1.3 crop cams. This camera doesn't seem to do anything that hasn't already been done except better video. Maybe the auto focus will be crazy good but other than that I don't see anything. It's high ISO capabilities are worse than the D3 from what I can tell and certainly worse than the D3s. The 5Dii and the D3x both can resolve more detail. I dunno, what's the target audience here?

The 7d was a great camera for Canon, this is a little un-impressive.
