Georgia Tech Paintball Club
Being part of the Georgia Tech Photography Club, one outing was to go photograph a scrimmage match between the GT Paintball Club and others from around the area. This is my first time photographing paintball, so still a lot to learn. I just essentially went in there, prayed to not get hit and just fired away. This is under very harsh light due to the scrimmage taking place from 11am-3pm. Comments and criticisms please and thank you.

Pic #2 is my fave due to vignette. Then #1 with #3 a close second.
#1 has great compostion and nice shallow focus, but i would remove the standing body, clone tool over it or something. #3 is great where you can actually see the gas escaping the barrel. I would suggest playing with them a bit in an editor of your choice. Levels would be high on my list of adjustments. Lighting is a bit harsh in some but can be toned down. I think the Action shots are well composed, but shutter speed is so fast, its almost too "clean" for me, but that is a personal call on my part. Dang, the more I look at them the more I want to see blur on the grass and surroundings on the action shots. That and you should do airsoft games. :P lol |
