Critique Please

I am strong, i can take it.
After missing out on the Rocky Mountain School photo critique section today in Redmond, I realized how important it is to have your photos honestly picked apart by your peers, so here goes:

The first and last look good. The last one looks like the old Windows XP background.

The middle shot is kind of blah. Doesn't really do anything for me. I think it'd have been nicer if it was fully dark outside.

My Camera: must take pretty pictures
#1. Does nothing for me. Shots such as these are normally best for family eyes as they have an emotional attachment to the subject.
#2. Too much going on. What is the subject? This shot feels more like a test shot for night photography.
#3. Clean and simple which I like, but nothing really pulls me in. Stock photo.

1 - Too much body and room above head. Maybe make the frame tighter, as the face is the most interesting.
2 - contrast is too high between the car lights and surrounding.
3 - foreground with the grass is really distracting. Might be artifacts from jpg compression. Other than that, good stock photo.

Windows XP Screensaver

Yes, It almost seemed like it was selective focus, then I remembered I took the photo from the passenger side of a moving car going 65mph in Idaho.

Thanks for all your points
