Critique Please
I am strong, i can take it.
After missing out on the Rocky Mountain School photo critique section today in Redmond, I realized how important it is to have your photos honestly picked apart by your peers, so here goes: ![]() Last edited by Scott Harder; 02-21-2010 at 10:58 PM. |

The first and last look good. The last one looks like the old Windows XP background.
The middle shot is kind of blah. Doesn't really do anything for me. I think it'd have been nicer if it was fully dark outside. |

My Camera: must take pretty pictures

#1. Does nothing for me. Shots such as these are normally best for family eyes as they have an emotional attachment to the subject.
#2. Too much going on. What is the subject? This shot feels more like a test shot for night photography. #3. Clean and simple which I like, but nothing really pulls me in. Stock photo. |

1 - Too much body and room above head. Maybe make the frame tighter, as the face is the most interesting.
2 - contrast is too high between the car lights and surrounding. 3 - foreground with the grass is really distracting. Might be artifacts from jpg compression. Other than that, good stock photo. |

Windows XP Screensaver
Yes, It almost seemed like it was selective focus, then I remembered I took the photo from the passenger side of a moving car going 65mph in Idaho.
Thanks for all your points |
