Portable storage devices
I was thinking of getting one of these type of storage goodies. Not that I really need one that bad but we're going to Glacier NP in a couple of weeks and I know we're going to be taking a lot of pictures and I don't want to take the laptop with me. It sounds easier than several memory cards.

I use portable storage all the time and spend lots of time on the road for work.
since I shoot hundreds if not thousands of images and need the storage other then using a laptop. since i don't have a laptop right now, they make the most sence. I use the small portable Western Digital USB hard drives. You can get a 750G with a neoprene case and cable at Costco right now for $90. Im on my 4th one. Now I am planning on getting the powered WD 2Terabyte drive for backing them up on. |

I have a 1TB WD and my mom just bought the 2 TB. We absolutely love them.

I don't use one as I drag my laptop around when I am gone on trips.
I've heard good things about the Jobo ( Jobo - Spectator, 120GB Stand-Alone Data Storage Unit - GSP120 - ) and the Epson P-6000/7000 ( epson photo storage ) |
