My Camera: Nikon D90
Question New to Seattle, looking for some ideas...

Hey folks, I'm brand spankin' new here to the forum, and I'm a recent transplant from the San Francisco Bay to the Seattle area. I've had some great opportunities to get out and about in the last couple months, seen some beautiful places and all I want is more! I'm also pretty new to digital photography in general, I've only been shooting for about a year or so, but the experience has been great! I feel like I've learned so much already and I'm really looking forward to reading more here on the forum and hopefully getting some input from any of you that are willing to give it.

Presently, I'd really like to probe the collective mind out there and ask if anyone knows of any good abandoned building type locations, or old barns, anything like that... something old and no longer used, on the decline, and just begging to have its story told. This type of a shoot is fast becoming one of my most favorite and I'd love to find some greats places to pursue it on my own... anyone have any ideas they're willing to share?

I'm not quite on par with a good number of yet as I don't already have a dSLR, but I am in the eager process of saving for it. My current camera (Nikon P90) has been more than suitable, I've gotten some great shots with it and been very happy. I feel that I've somewhat outgrown it though, there are some features and capabilities that I'd like to be able to make use of that this camera doesn't have... so the leap to full dSLR will hopefully be happening in the next few months. As long as that's okay, I'd love to hang around and see what y'all have to say. Thanks a bunch!
