My Camera: Nikon D300
I do, I use both the 4 Million and the 6 Million Dollar Home Camera Bags. The 4 Million will carry my D300 with the 18-200 lens attached and either my 50mm or 35mm tucked in at the bottom of the bag. I can get the batter charger and a few filters/batteries/cards stuck in there as well. Great for short trips. The 6 Million fits all four lens and camera body with more space on top for accessories such as the charger and a small flash. I've always been a fan of Crumpler since they don't look like a camera bag. If you're looking online, check backcountry.com. They have a great return/exchange program if you're not certain what size you'll need. Their outlet site is called departmentofgoods.com. I bought both of my bags at a huge discount from the outlet site.

Let me know if you're interested in pictures of the bags and how I load them up.

if you dont mind carrying a purse

i was using a sling bag/backpack the kata 3in10 , but as convenient as it seems i bet the crumpler would be a better way to go if your in a hurry.

also i liked the lowepro aw200 better than the kata, the kata doesnt sit too well on my back.

have fun in thailand, if you have chance check out krabi and chiang mai

We're going to Chiang Mai but not Krabi.

Bangkok>Chiang Mai>Phuket (just two days for a boat cruise)>Koh Phangan

departmentofgoods.com looks to have great prices, too bad they don't have what I need right now.

I'd love to see some photos of your bags loaded up.

I may take you up on that. I have a Tamrac Expedition 8x but it's to big to carry on some of the asian airlines and I don't want to check two bags. I'm going to go look at some bags and let you know. Thanks Kirk.
