screen went out, any fix?

so i have my gf's camera that ive been using, basically just point and clicking, hoping the pixs i take are good :P

camera:
Nikon Coolpix L5
the screen went out obviously.


any help is appreciated, thanks

My Camera: disposable
the cost of replacing the screen would probably justify the cost of buying a new camera, especially the way point and shoots go.

Ditto, go pick up a canon elph. Run ya about two fiddy. Takes very nic pics.

ya figured as much. i saw a nice canon 12.1 megapix at costco for 300.

My Camera: Nikon D700
Is their a viewfinder on it? If so, you can still use it and just look at the pictures once you've downloaded them to your PC or Mac.

ya thats what ive been doing, some of the shots i take are WAAY off, kinda funny, but most are actually good. i usually pull the pics off the camera via usb. still works
