My Camera: Nikon D700
The National Zoo in Washington, DC

I took these this past summer... from The National Zoo in Washington, DC.

Super sunny, tough to take pictures with all the sunlight, and the animals in shaded areas were hard to capture. It would have been great to go here in the early morning hours, but the zoo hours dont allow that.

Animals are somewhat tough to shoot because they wont hold still, so you think you have a decently composed shot and it never works out.

Here are only a few from the couple hours I was there...

beans youve found out why the best of the best have worked for Nat Geo cuz nature photography is a bitch
