Critique a standard motorcycle shot please...
I know this is a somewhat standard shot for a motorcycle, but what else can I do to make it a better shot?
I'm thinking some kind of softbox setup, but that doesnt seem practical for me. How well will some flashes help out with the underexposed areas? Any other suggestions?

park away from the curb
looks like youve got a tree growing out of the tank figure out what you want the main focus of the shot to be and build the shot from there (Id move the bike so the background is primarily the vines/ shrubbery build a little stage for the bike so you can hide the yellow curbing And crop out any unnesicary crap |

Hello? McFly?
Add a hot chick of course. Who wants to see just a bike sitting there anyway?
Just kidding...... well kinda..... I would try a different background and try to increase the depth of field a bit. Possibly the waterfront, or the seattle skyline, or something besides just the green leaves. Following earlier suggestions would accomplish most of this also. "Away from the curb, on a stage" etc. |
