If Pro Photo is the place I'm thinking of it's good. Kinda like Glazers, big, independent shop. Are you down here in the Portland area this weekend? I wanted to go take some photos but the weather was crappy so far.

I was in downtown Portland today, went to Camera World and Shutterbug. Camera World was the closest thing to Glazers in Seattle, but I went in for a few things and they were out of stock. Shutterbug was a couple blocks away, also downtown, and was more like a Kits Camera - smaller place but did have what I needed in stock. Go figure.

Camera World probably has the best selection in Portland

I know it's analog and won't be of much help, but Blue Moon Camera and Machine is a fantastic shop full of cool old gear. I love old cameras and I always stop by there if I'm in Portland.
Edit-whoa, just looked at the date of the last post.

Pro photo supply at NW18th and NW Johnson Portland. Way better than camera world and shutterbug.

agreed

pro photo is by far the best store down in p-town. With the typical cool rental policy of half off after 3 pm (or something like that) on fridays...and you get to rent over the weekend for the price of one day.

I would agree that Pro Photo is a good store. Helpful and knowledgable staff (usually) and a great selection. I visit there when I'm in town, and have purchased a lot of my gear there.

Pro Photo Supply is awesome!! Great prices. Staff has great knowledge about everything. Once I did deal with a not so friendly staff member, but other then that, no complaints!
