I must say, a race every 30 minutes sounds like not a lot of racing... but it is just enough time to catch the horses as they come around the prestaging area (where betters can catch a glance at the horses) the pregate, and then the winners circle at mid track for a photo op. Im posting as if you havent been to a race before. Since I hadn't; I'll try to explain. At any rate... Here are my results. Take er' easy on me. These are all 100% unmanipulated as Im posting from a remote computer. Thanks. Getting started for the first race. Showing the horses with the trainer/assistant. ![]() ![]() Now the jockets mount, and make a half pass before exiting for the track. ![]() This guy was good with the trumpet. And he sounded off at the 5 minute mark before each race. ![]() Winner of Race 1 pulling up. ![]() Second and third....... ![]() As you can see, the prestage showing area, as well as with most of Emerald Downs, is really kept up well. It was a very nice facility. ![]() Got a few seconds to talk to this jockey. ![]() Hey look who it is...... ![]() Hey maybe I gave him some good luck....... ok probably not. ![]() These guys were towards the back of the pack....... ![]() Next race...........Race 3.... ![]() Winning horse gets a thanks from the jockey.......... ![]() A quick glance to who was in second.......... ![]() Probably my favorite shot of the day. ![]() ![]() 7 starts to pull away. ![]() But 6 made an amazing last effort and made the outside pass for the win. ![]() Final race that I stayed for. Race 4 Jockies fighting for second place...... ![]() Winner ![]() ![]() Hope you enjoyed them!

They can be sometimes a sticky subject but you really caught emphasis on either the eyes or the power which are the two main things that make horse pictures so great =] |
