Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

The Tulip Festival is happening for the entire month of April. Eric and I wanted to go, take some pictures...

Anyone else interested in going?

It's happening in Skagit Valley.

My Camera: Konica/Minolta Maxxum 7D

When photographing orchids I have spent some amount of money to recreate the very diffuse lighting we have here on a typical NW day - somewhat overcast will bring out the colors very nicely.

A polarizing filter can make the colors saturate a little more, but be careful you don't get too much of the effect, or it will look unnatural.
