this couple asked me to take their engagement shots about a month ago. nice couple.

pretty standard shots, nothing all that artsy. didn't really wanna try any weird stuff at the time.

My Camera: one pixel of awesome

awwwwwww...

can i say one thing though? i remember this from when i was about eight (the only time we had a family portait done) is remember to watch what the hands are doing. in the second one, his hand looks like it's trying to prevent her skirt from flying up and is lying flat in her lap rather than with some sort of roundness. same with the first one, his fingers are all expanded and flat against her chest rather than having some sort of curvature, making it look more natural such as in the third photo. were you paying attention to that at all? if you were, good. then just disregard what i said.

omg, i can't take the negativity.

yeah, they kept stacking their hands and putting them together in a lot of shots, and i told them to try and keep from doing that. meh. i also told them to wear certain types of clothes (ie, no sleeveless shirts or shorts), but that was kinda disregarded, too.

First one seems a bit too bright, but maybe it's just me.

Did you play with the saturation on the 3rd one? It looks a bit rich.

Nice photos otherwise. Good stuff man.

the steps were pretty bright, and causing the couple to be dark in comparison.

the 3rd one, it was pretty colorful that day as it is. overcast skies in the afternoon ftw.

That's awesome. I love it when nature makes it easy.

if there were too much saturation you would have seen their skin color warmer-different too.
